Project Brief
RCC Engineers was engaged to investigate significant external masonry cracking and concerns regarding possible foundation movement at an existing residence.
Our Scope
The investigation included a relative floor-level survey, crack measurements, wall-alignment observations and consideration of drainage, vegetation and surrounding ground conditions.
Engineering Outcome
The assessment identified general building movement and provided targeted recommendations for drainage improvements, masonry repairs, articulation joints and ongoing monitoring rather than unnecessary major foundation intervention.
